As the father of two gifted children, Jim is deeply aware of the challenges that bright youth face in the public school system in order to thrive emotionally, socially and academically. Jim is co-chair of the Provincial Parents Associations Advisory Committee on SEAC (PAAC on SEAC). He is also a Parent Mentor for Uniquely Bright Life (formerly Bright & Quirky), an organization that provides education and support for parents of twice exceptional youth.
In addition to his advocacy work, Jim’s career has focused on corporate communications, where he has served as a creative director and speech writer for clients in the pharmaceutical, banking and automotive industries.
